Other bodies such as the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) and the United Kingdom Register of Counsellors (UKRC) were set up to provide another type of validation of counsellors and psychotherapists in an attempt to offer a baseline sense of validation of registered individuals.
